Club Honours Boards

All clubs that call the rink their home are offered the opportunity to purchase and display a board in the upstairs lounge area. This is a way of raising funds for new ice maintenance equipment. All funds from the sale of the winners boards will be used exclusively to fund the purchase and maintenance of our ice equipment.

Initially, clubs are being offered the chance to purchase one board for their main league or competition. Depending on uptake, it may be possible later to purchase a second board.

The cost for the boards are as follows (2025-26 season)

• 1st year - purchase of board with up to 20 years of history printed, including space rental - £100
• Subsequent years - space rental, maintenance and adding new names - £30

Each board can accommodate a total of 30 years history and the club can decide how many years of history they would like to be displayed on the board when purchased, up to a maximum of 20 years.

We ask that clubs provide the names of all the winning rinks players, from Skip to Lead, as it is good for all curlers to have the chance to get their name displayed on a board no matter their ability or position in the team. Please provide first names rather than initials, although we will accept initials and surnames if this is not possible.

If you would like the board displayed at the start of the season then we need your form by 1st July, any requests made after this date cannot be guaranteed to be in place by the opening day.

We would love all our clubs to display some of their history in the lounge for the interest of the curlers who use the facility, as well as raising funds for future improvement in ice making.
